1) Eligibility
- Only alumni with Active alumni status can apply for membership through the Member Form.
- The applicant must log in with a valid account and verified email.
2) Membership Types
- General Membership: Valid for 1 year from payment verification date.
- Honarary Membership: Valid for 1 year from payment verification date.
- Life Membership: No expiry. (Activation handled by admin workflow.)
3) Membership Fee
- Membership amount is controlled from Admin Settings > Membership Payments.
- The latest configured amount at the time of payment is considered final.
4) Discount Codes
- EC Members can issue discount codes for General and Honarary memberships.
- A discount code may be fixed-amount or percentage based.
- Codes may include validity dates, maximum usage limits, and member-type restrictions.
- Invalid, expired, inactive, or exhausted codes are automatically rejected.
5) Payment and Activation
- Active alumni submit the membership form and complete payment from the membership landing page.
- On successful payment, the system records payment details and activates membership.
- For General/Honarary, validity is set to one year from payment date.
6) Pending and Admin Controls
- New member records can remain Pending until payment is verified, depending on workflow.
- Super Admin and EC Members may activate pending members through authorized bypass controls when necessary.
7) Data and Compliance
- Ensure accurate name, email, batch, and contact information before payment.
- Keep payment references and applied discount codes for audit transparency.
8) Support
- For failed payments, incorrect activation, or discount code issues, contact EC support/admin.
- Do not share confidential payment credentials or admin-only settings.
